Erlangen Atopic Dermatitis Day, 13 October 2026, 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm

Information session on atopic dermatitis for those affected and anyone interested, in the lecture halls of medicine, Ulmenweg 18, 91054 Erlangen

Itching, dry skin and recurring flare-ups – neurodermatitis significantly affects the lives of many patients. Neurodermatitis, also known as atopic eczema, is one of the most common chronic inflammatory skin conditions.

Children are particularly affected, but many adults also suffer from skin rashes and persistent itching. The condition usually follows a relapsing-remitting course and is influenced by factors such as stress, allergens and climatic conditions. New therapeutic approaches – ranging from basic treatments to immunomodulators – are increasingly helping people to manage the condition.
This event aims to shed light on the various aspects of atopic dermatitis. Those affected, their families and anyone else interested will also have the opportunity to ask questions and to dive deeper into the topic.
