Do brain organoids need to be protected?
Prof. Dederer from Passau is one of the project leaders in ForInter and is developing the ethical and legal framework for research on brain organoids for ForInter.

Research on cultured brain organoids is also being addressed within ForInters with regard to ethical and legal issues. Prof. Hans-Georg Dederer, Chair of Constitutional, Public International and International Business Law at the University of Passau, and his team are developing a legal framework for the research and therapeutic use of brain organoids.
